Construction Crew Members

Be part of an Agricultural Irrigation Construction crew where your hard work and positive attitude are appreciated. ALL SKILL LEVELS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED. Full-time positions include general construction, agricultural irrigation installation, trencher operator. If you have skills or experience in any of the following, we need you: electrical, plumbing, construction, irrigation, farming, laborers, maintenance . Installing and repairing water lines, conveyance lines, electrical wiring, pulling wires, pouring concrete, trenching. All position are outside jobs in agricultural environments performing various levels of manual tasks requiring physical strength and endurance. Frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, using various hand tools and equipment for construction and maintenance of agricultural irrigation systems. Positions are in our Altus, OK Service areas. Must work and communicate well with others, follow oral and written instructions, and be flexible with changing working conditions and West Texas weather. Driving for the position is not required, but must have reliable transportation to and from our shop. Drug, background screens and MVR checks performed. Benefits available for RFT employees. Competitive pay dependent upon individual's skills and experience.

Agronomy Intern

Reporting Supervisor: Manager, Agronomy Department

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Sat 7:30 – 12:00 Subject to change or increase during “busy season”. For Summer 2018.

Job Objective: Customer service

Essential Job Functions:

Assist agronomists and field representatives in grower consultations
Gather information for blending facility
Learn Fertilizer Program
Manage assigned grower fields (scouting)
Assist in various field trials on assigned fields
Analyze field data
Assist in fertilizer delivery

Additional Responsibilities:

Attend local field days and necessary industry meetings
Cooperate with all Eco-Drip personnel
Assist other departments as assigned

Non-Essential Functions: Perform other job duties as assigned

Education: Currently enrolled at an accredited university in an applicable field of study

Job Standards and Prerequisites: Experience in the use of computers and related software, e.g., Word, Access, Excel, Internet and Email. Ability to travel within the service area. Occasional time and travel away from office and service area for industry related meetings, trade shows, conferences, etc. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Critical Skills/Expertise/Experience:

Farm background, basic knowledge of drip irrigation and basic knowledge of plant fertility preferred but not required
Experience in establishing and maintaining working relationships
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Expertise in providing customer service
Organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines

Job Location: Abernathy, TX. Travel within Eco-Drip trade areas

Equipment: Computers and all standard office equipment. GPS equipment, soil sampling machines, four wheelers, hand tools and agricultural equipment

NOTE: Must be at least 19 years old and have a clean driving record
